Western Horseman
January 2019 marks the 83rd year of publication for Western Horseman magazine.
One thing has not changed—Western Horseman’s role in providing the most trusted and authentic content in the Western world. Our print publication has a dedicated readership that is envied by many of our competitors.
Earning the dedicated trust of our audience did not happen over-night. We have been earning it, issue by issue, since 1936.

NRCHA
The National Reined Cow Horse Association was formed in 1949, with the goal of preserving and educating the public about the rich history of this traditional horsemanship. The NRCHA is responsible for promoting the sport and ensuring high standards of competition.

The American Quarter Horse Association, based in Amarillo, Texas, is an international organization dedicated to the preservation, improvement and record-keeping of the American Quarter Horse. The association sanctions many competitive events and maintains the official registry.
